Policy Pack Version 1.1 · Effective 28 September 2026
This page summarises the full Teekonect Campus Programme Privacy, Terms, Fraud and Commission Policy Pack,
operated by Cathy Materfamilias Ltd (publicly known as Briisi Africa). It is provided for
transparency to students and ambassadors. Where this summary and the complete policy pack differ, the
complete document governs.
Pre-launch draft notice: this programme is being finalised. Items such as the privacy
contact email, dispute channel, and integrity reporting channel will be published here before the
programme launches. If you need to reach us now, use the contact options on the main
TeeKonect contact page.
1. Student Privacy Notice
Applies to: students who register, receive a demonstration, or create a Teekonect card.
Explains how Teekonect collects and uses your data when you create or use a Teekonect card, scan a Campus
Programme QR code, attend a physical demonstration, or receive assisted onboarding.
What's collected
- Account info (name, phone/email, authentication status)
- Education and professional info you add to your card
- Profile photo, if you choose to add one
- Referral and activation info (ambassador code, link or QR used, completion status, first qualifying share)
- Service/security info (device identifiers, IP, timestamps, fraud indicators)
- Support communications and, only with separate notice and consent, event photos or recordings
During a physical demonstration
- The ambassador must explain what Teekonect does and show you this notice before assisting with registration.
- You hold and control your own phone at all times.
- You enter your own password and one-time password. Never tell an ambassador your password, verification code, or banking PIN.
- You decide which optional fields to complete and whether to add a photo.
- The ambassador must not copy your contacts, photograph your screen, export your data, or retain your information outside approved Teekonect systems.
- You may watch a demonstration and decline to register, with no effect on your standing at your institution.
Sharing, retention and your rights
Teekonect does not sell your personal data. Ambassadors receive only the minimum status information needed
to know whether an activation is pending, approved, or rejected — never your full profile. Data is
retained only as long as necessary and deleted, anonymised, or archived per the approved retention schedule.
You can ask Teekonect to confirm what data it holds, correct it, delete or restrict it, provide a portable
copy, object to processing, withdraw consent, or arrange human review of a significant automated decision.
You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
2. Ambassador Privacy Notice
Applies to: applicants, selected ambassadors, Campus Leads, and former participants.
Explains how Teekonect uses your data during recruitment, onboarding, programme management, performance
validation, payment, investigation, and offboarding.
What's collected
- Application info: identity, contact, institution, course, level, graduation year, campus roles, network reach, experience, motivation
- Eligibility/verification info collected after conditional selection
- Programme info: training completion, knowledge check results, Ambassador ID, referral code
- Performance info: referred registrations, approved/pending/rejected activations, completion rates, leaderboard position
- Payment info: approved earnings, bank/wallet details, payment status, tax/withholding records
- Integrity/security info: device and login records, duplicate or unusual activity indicators, complaint and investigation evidence
Key protections
- A fraud flag is an indicator for review, not proof of misconduct. Final suspension, termination, or recovery decisions require authorised human review.
- Ambassadors see only the minimum information needed to support an activation (reference, completion status, reason category) — never a full student profile.
- Ambassadors must not export student lists, use student information for personal marketing, contact a student for unrelated purposes, or retain student information on personal devices.
- Publishing your name on a leaderboard, or using your photo/testimonial, requires separate, specific consent — and declining never reduces your selection score or commission entitlement.
3. Ambassador Terms & Code of Conduct
Applies to: selected ambassadors and Campus Leads. Must be accepted before receiving an Ambassador ID, referral code, or permission to represent Teekonect.
Appointment and eligibility
- Appointment is personal, conditional, and limited to your approved institution, programme period, and role.
- You must be at least 18, currently enrolled where required, reachable, and able to perform the role safely and lawfully.
- You must promptly disclose any change affecting your eligibility, identity, institution, student status, or availability.
Weekly expectations
Unless Teekonect confirms a different target in writing, the weekly operating expectation is
50 approved activations, with 75 and 100 treated as higher performance
milestones. Targets guide performance and continued participation — they never permit pressure,
deception, unsafe activity, or circumvention of activation controls.
- Complete orientation, knowledge checks, refresher training, and the first-ten-users practical exercise
- Use only your assigned referral link or QR code and approved campaign materials
- Attend scheduled check-ins and respond promptly to reasonable requests
- Escalate product, privacy, safety, payment, or integrity issues through the approved channel without delay
What you may never do
- Sign contracts, collect money, promise employment, guarantee earnings, or bind the Company
- Harass, discriminate against, bully, threaten, or create an unsafe environment for anyone
- Request or record a password, one-time code, banking PIN, or another person's device without authority
- Accept bribes, kickbacks, secret commissions, or any payment intended to manipulate registration or payment
- Publish another person's image, testimonial, or personal information without required consent and Company approval
Corrective action and end of participation
Depending on severity, Teekonect may provide coaching, require retraining, issue a warning, restrict
activity, suspend access or payments, terminate participation, or recover improper payments. Valid approved
earnings accrued before your end date remain payable, subject to validation, lawful deductions, and fraud
findings.
4. Physical Demonstration & Assisted Onboarding Protocol
Mandatory for every Campus Ambassador, Campus Lead, and Teekonect representative who demonstrates the service or assists a student in person.
Required opening statement
“I can show you how Teekonect works and help you find the correct fields. You remain in control of
your phone and information. I will not ask for your password, one time password, banking PIN, or access to
your contacts. You may stop at any time, skip optional fields, or watch the demonstration without
registering. Please review the Student Privacy Notice before you continue.”
Prohibited conduct
| Never do this | Required response |
| Ask for or record a password, OTP, PIN, or security answer | Stop the session; let the student enter it privately; report any exposure |
| Create an account without the student present and participating | Do not proceed |
| Use false, guessed, or copied profile information | Ask the student for accurate info or leave the field incomplete |
| Keep screenshots, paper lists, or exported student data | Use only the approved dashboard; securely destroy unauthorised copies |
| Bundle marketing or photography consent into registration | Present each optional consent separately and leave it unticked |
| Pressure students or misrepresent earnings or benefits | Give accurate information and allow the student to decline |
| Use a personal device/account to bypass security controls | Always fails — use approved methods and seek support |
Any suspected exposure, lost device, or privacy incident must be reported immediately through the approved
escalation channel, with the affected activity stopped and evidence preserved without copying more personal data.
5. Fraud & Commission Policy
Defines the evidence required for a payable activation, the commission and bonus model, validation, prohibited conduct, and dispute rights.
Commission principle
An ambassador earns ₦100 only for each approved Verified Teekonect Activation (VTA)
attributed to their valid referral link or QR code. A registration, app install, page visit, or incomplete
account does not qualify. Weekly bonuses are non-cumulative — only the highest milestone reached on
approved weekly totals applies.
A Verified Teekonect Activation requires
- The student uses the ambassador's valid referral link or QR code
- The student creates one unique Teekonect account and verifies a valid phone number or email
- Every mandatory profile field is completed and a usable Teekonect card is created
- The student performs a qualifying action, such as the first card share or QR presentation
- The activation passes duplicate, quality, and fraud checks, and stays valid throughout the verification period
Weekly compensation model
| Approved weekly VTAs | Base commission | Weekly bonus | Total weekly earning |
| 1–49 | ₦100 each | None | ₦100–₦4,900 |
| 50–74 | ₦100 each | ₦1,250 | ₦6,250–₦8,650 |
| 75–99 | ₦100 each | ₦2,375 | ₦9,875–₦12,275 |
| 100–149 | ₦100 each | ₦5,000 | ₦15,000–₦19,900 |
| 150+ | ₦100 each | ₦8,750 | From ₦23,750 |
Example: 82 approved VTAs in a week produce a base commission of
₦8,200 plus the ₦2,375 milestone bonus, for total weekly earnings of ₦10,575.
Validation and payment cycle
| Stage | Timing |
| Weekly close | Sunday at 11:59 p.m. West Africa Time |
| Validation | Next 48–72 hours |
| Decision | Each activation becomes approved, pending, or rejected with a reason |
| Payment | By the following Friday, for approved activations |
| Dispute window | Within 7 calendar days of the result |
What counts as fraud
Creating fake, duplicate, automated, or self-generated accounts; registering a student without their
knowledge or voluntary participation; using bots, scripts, device farms, or purchased accounts; colluding
with another ambassador or student; dividing or selling referral codes; offering unapproved payments to
induce registration; and altering or withholding evidence during review — all may result in
rejection, suspension, termination, or recovery of payments.
